For many decades she been a very successful actress and created several roles through improvisation for the theatre ..highly acclaimed for her performance as Marilym Monroe , in the ward winning I’m Dreaming the Hardest. She appeared at the Royal Court Theatre, Cambridge Theatre Company, London West End,  Theatre of Comedy, award-winning Death of a Salesman with Timothy West , played a regular part Stella Jordan in TV series London Bridge as well as a plethora of TV shows,  including The Bill, Casualty, Dad’s Army, Jeeves and Worcester, with a fan base for her cult horror movies from 1970’s. Throughout her life she has kept journals, written stories, poetry, lyrics and is now putting together an unusual memoir. Having grown up in underdeveloped countries, Somalia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Cuba, her family helping communities to adapt their lives for survival, there is a plethora of material to draw from. Her mother’s ancestors came from Ireland in 1890s went to the outback in Australia, The Duracks the highly acclaimed book and movie Kings in Grass Castles won her cousin Mary Durack an OBE and a Dame-hood.

Presently she is researching her mother Marjorie Durack–Hill’s story, the working-title which is Persian Melon, and finishing her first Uplit novel What Lola Wants?
